Mike was never one to stay in one place to long and had lived in San Francisco, California from the early eighties until 1991 when he returned to Florida. He held numerous jobs from being a sous chef in Kansas City, a corporate restaurant manager for McDonalds and a bookkeeper in the movie industry in California.

Those who knew him were all amazed by Mike’s positive attitude and his will to live life to its fullest. He loved his dogs and supported family and friends every chance he had.

He is survived by brothers Samuel LaFevers and William (Jane LaFevers), uncle and aunt

Charles and Jill LaFevers, nephew Tyler LaFevers, nieces Gina Etienne, Angie Durrell, Amanda (Sarah) Perry and cousins Charles (Sabrina) LaFevers.
