Robert E. Lightner, of Independence, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, May 3, 2017.

Robert was born in Kansas City, Missouri, to Oliver Lightner and Ruth Justice Jones.

Bobby is survived by his wife Sheri Lightner; mother Ruth Justice Jones, daughter Kirsten Lightner; son Nathan Lightner; sister Catherine (Tom), brothers David Lightner (Tammy) and Bill Jones (Angela); and several nieces and nephews.
