Timothy Joseph Snell – Born August 4, 1957 the son of Buford Cecil Snell and Rebecca Frances (Gilliam) Snell. He passed away August 30, 2008 at the age of 51 years and 26 days. He was united in marriage to DeAnn Lamberty on December 27, 1991 at Independence, MO.

He was preceded in death by his father Buford Cecil Snell; his grandparents; one infant son Ty Snell; one brother Gilbert Snell; one nephew Joe Snell and one sister-in-law DaleAnn Snell. He is survived by his wife DeAnn Snell of Birch Tree, MO; his mother Rebecca Carnal of Independence, MO; two daughters Nicole Bentley and husband Seth of Independence, MO; and Tracey Snell of Independence, MO; three brothers Steve Snell and wife Denise of Kansas City, MO; Ben Snell of Independence, MO; Bob Snell and wife Karen of Kansas City, MO; one sister-in-law Ingrid Snell of Independence, MO; one granddaughter Sophia Elia Bentley of Independence, MO and a host of other family and friends.

Timothy graduated from Truman High School in Independence, MO in 1975. He enlisted in the United States Air Force in February 1976 and served until he was honorably discharged in August 1978. Timothy served in the Air Force Reserves until December 22, 1981. He attended college in Warrensburg and Kansas City, MO. He was employed at the hospitals in Independence, MO where he worked in orthopedics, occupational therapy and surgery. In May 1992 Timothy relocated to Birch Tree, MO where he worked at V&V Processing in Birch Tree, along with various odd jobs including cutting firewood.

Tim was an avid fan of both the Kansas City Chiefs and NASCAR. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Arrangements were under the direction of Duncan Funeral Home of Birch Tree, MO.
