Glenda Ellen Robertson, 68, of Sedalia, MO, passed away Monday, December 15, 2025, at her home.

She was born April 20, 1957, in Jackson County, MO, daughter of Glen Dale Gates and Dorothy Ellen (Stice) Gates.

On September 3, 1988, in Grandview, MO, she was married to Larry Matthew Robertson.

Glenda worked as an early childhood education teacher at State Fair Community College and as a librarian for the Sedalia Public Library. She enjoyed traveling, camping, boating, and spending time with her family. She loved her grandchildren dearly, and enjoyed her dogs.

Surviving are her husband, Matt, of the home; a daughter, Sarah Elisabeth Jackson (Steve), of Kansas City, MO; three grandchildren, Connor Lloyd Jackson, Logan Anthony Jackson, and Emma Rose Jackson; two brothers, Steven Gates, of Climax Springs, MO, Greg Gates, of Kansas City, MO; and a sister, Debra Ostlund, of Long Beach, CA.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Lawrence Dale Gates.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Sedalia Animal Shelter.

Cremation arrangements are in the care of Heckart Funeral Home.
